Eilish McColgan is a Scottish middle-distance runner who has represented Great Britain at the 2012 and 2016 Olympic Games. She also represented Scotland at the Commonwealth Games in 2014 and 2018.

Eilish holds Tokyo Olympic qualifying times for the 1500m, 5000m, and 10,000m, and she's working with PH to refine her hydration strategy in preparation for the hot and humid conditions of Japan.

Other career highlights on Eilish's impressive CV include a silver medal for the 5000m at the 2018 European Athletics Championships and a silver medal at the European Indoor Championships over 3000m. She currently holds the Scottish National Record for the 5,000m and 10 miles on the road and ranks highly on the UK all-time lists for distances from 1500m up to 10,000m.

The daughter of famous athletes, Liz and Peter McColgan, Eilish is coached by her mother, who is a former Olympic silver medalist and 10,000m World Champion.

Outside of sport, Eilish studied mathematics and accountancy at University of Dundee before embarking on a full-time career as an athlete in 2012.
