Gregory Barnaby
IRONMAN® Pro Series Champion
Gregory Barnaby is a professional long-distance triathlete who has been dedicated to the sport for over 20 years, starting at just nine years old. Representing Italy on the world stage, he initially competed in sprint and Olympic-distance events before transitioning to long-course racing in 2020.
In his long-distance debut, Gregory became the first Italian to break the 8-hour barrier in an IRONMAN®, securing a podium finish at IRONMAN® Israel with an astonishing 2 hour, 35 minute marathon. He continued to make history with a remarkable 7:33 IRONMAN® time, earning third place at the IRONMAN® European Championship in Frankfurt. He finished 6th at the 2024 IRONMAN® World Championship in Kona and claimed the title of inaugural 2024 IRONMAN® Pro Series Champion.
