Andy Blow

Role: Co-Founder and Sports Scientist

Andy Blow is a Sports Scientist with a degree in Sports and Exercise Science from the University of Bath. An expert in sweat, dehydration and cramping, Andy previously worked as the Team Sports Scientist for the Benetton and Renault Formula 1 teams, and remains an adviser to the Porsche Human Performance Centre.

An elite level triathlete in his younger days, Andy has finished in the top-10 of Ironman and IM 70.3 races, as well as winning an Xterra World title.

It was Andy's own struggles with cramp and hydration that led to him specialising in electrolyte replenishment and founding Precision Fuel & Hydration. 

Andy is a leading figure in the world of sports hydration and has worked alongside Dr Raj Jutley, as well as other top sports scientists, to co-author a number of studies and books.

Jonny Tye

Role: Chief Operating Officer

Qualifications: MEng in Mechanical Engineering

Jonny Tye was a national champion canoeist between 2007-12 and won his first major championship medal in 2009 - a bronze at the European Marathon Championships. In 2011 Jonny became a double silver medallist at the Marathon World Championships in Singapore.

Jonny has a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Surrey University, where he received a sports scholarship and was a member of the Performance Athlete Support Scheme. 

Jonny has been involved with Precision Hydration since the company's inception and now directs the majority of the operational aspects of the business. He has also co-authored several papers with Andy Blow.

Dr Raj Jutley

Role: Co-Founder, Head of Science

Professor Raj Jutley is a consultant heart surgeon who co-founded Precision Hydration with Andy Blow. He trained in Scotland and worked as a consultant in Nottingham, UK. He now spends the bulk of his time in Kenya where he's setting up affordable healthcare systems. In the UK, Raj was the medical consultant to the Porsche Human Performance Centre as well as to the highly successful Racing Steps Foundation (www.racingsteps.co.uk). 

Raj, who drives classic rally cars and won the South African National Championship Classic Class in 2019, has over 40 peer reviewed scientific articles to his name, with the aim to add more of the topic of customised hydration. He continues to be involved in a scientific capacity with Precision Hydration, providing valuable input specifically in response to medically-based queries.

Brad Williams

Role: Team PH Captain and Social Media Manager

A professional triathlete, Brad has raced Kona four times as an amateur, with a top placement of 6th in his age group (9:03).

Brad turned pro in 2015 and has since made more than 30 starts in 70.3 and IM races, picking up a half-IM win and 22 top-ten finishes.

Brad has been using PH since he was sweat tested in 2015 and looks after the fantastic athlete ambassadors who represent PH, while Brad also runs the PH social media channels, including Instagram, Facebook and Twitter.



James Phillips

Role: Customer Service Manager and Sports Scientist

James Phillips is a Sports Scientist with a degree in Sports and Exercise Science from the University of Exeter.

Our chief Sweat Test Officer, James has a developed a huge amount of customer service experience and he's the man who helps athletes get the most out of PH and perform at their best.

Sean O'Mahony

Role: North American Operations Manager

Sean is based in Vancouver and supports our sales efforts in North America, particularly in Canada and on the West Coast.

Sean is a successful technology startup manager in and boasts a wealth of international management and operational experience having been involved in Silicon Valley in the early years.

A keen cyclist and triathlete, Sean (and the majority of the PH team) can be found over on our Strava group



Dave Colley

Role: Marketing Director

Qualifications: MA in History

Dave earned a Masters Degree in history from the University of Cambridge before moving into the world of ecommerce and marketing. He helped grow Europe's fastest growing dating site (Twoo) and sell it to Match.com and built LoveThis, top 25 UK app for sharing recommendations with friends before he joined the team at Precision Hydration. 

Dave dabbles with a bit of biking and running and is a keen hiker - he counts the Three Peaks Challenge, Tongariro Alpine Crossing and Salcantay Trek in the Andes amongst his achievements.



Chris Knight

Role: Marketing Manager

Chris is a qualified journalist having completed an NCTJ-accredited course in Multimedia Journalism at the Daily Echo in Bournemouth and he's had work published in a variety of publications, including The Guardian, The Sportsman and All Out Cricket magazine.

Chris is particularly interested in the mental side of sport and also has a Masters in Sports & Exercise Psychology from the University of the West of England, Bristol. He looks after the content side of the Precision Hydration website, so feel free to get in touch if you have a story to tell. 



Dawn Grant

Role: Office Manager

Dawn is a qualified Personal Assistant and is the glue that keeps everything together at Precision Hydration headquarters. 

Dawn rides road and mountain bikes, plays squash for fun, and was a member of the Bournemouth Echo Ladies' Darts team back in the 90s. She also has two teenage boys at home to keep her on her toes.



Sam Cummings

Role: Supply Chain and Logistics Manager

Sam is the PH Supply Chain and Logistics Manager at Precision Hydration and he brings a vast amount of experience in fulfilment, logistics and customer service to the team. Sam ensures the production and delivery of products runs smoothly.

Since joining PH, Sam has become a keen cyclist and he'll often spend his evenings working out on TrainerRoad.


Ali Wilson

Role: Senior Developer

Qualifications: First-Class BSc in Multimedia Web Design

Ali is the PH Senior Developer, with a degree in Multimedia Web Design from the University of Gloucestershire. He’s an expert in turning things off and on again, making sure the matrix is kept online and performing code wizardry.

Outside of work, Ali has co-founded several successful startup businesses. He loves the gym and all things sport, and since joining PH has become a practicing long distance trail runner.
