Robbie Britton

British 24-Hour Record Holder

Robbie is an ultrarunner, adventure athlete and a world-class coach.

Primarily a Team GB 24-hour runner, where the goal is simply to run as far as possible in a single day, he also competes over trail and shorter distances. He holds the record for the Fastest Known Time for the 650km Jordan Trail and the British 24-hour record after running 277.4km in 2023.

For the past 12 months, Robbie's focus has shifted to ultra distance cycling and after a rocky start he was able to finish 4th at the 1100km Two Volcano Sprint at the end of 2019.

As an athlete and a coach, Robbie has a strong desire to keep improving as he has an MSc in Performance Coaching and has an IOC Sports Nutrition diploma.

Working with Precision Fuel & Hydration has really helped me increase my own understanding of hydration and electrolytes, which has benefited my own running and the athletes I coach.

Robbie's Top Tips

  • We're all very different so take the time to investigate what works for you when it comes to hydration
  • Aim for consistency as no big "killer session" will replace the hours that make us fit over time
  • Enjoy and understand your sport - even the harder sessions are enjoyable when you know what they're trying to achieve
