Jelle Geens

2x IRONMAN 70.3® World Champion

Jelle has recently transitioned from Olympic distance triathlon to middle, and plans to move up to full distance in the future.

Jelle has competed at three Olympic Games and is the first, and still only, Belgian athlete to win a WTCS race. In 2024, Jelle won the IRONMAN 70.3® World Championships in Taupo, New Zealand, and he followed that up by successfully defending his title with victory at the Precision Fuel & Hydration IRONMAN 70.3® World Championship in Marbella in 2025, coming out on top in an epic sprint finish with Kristian Blummenfelt.

Jelle is looking forward to working together with Precision Fuel & Hydration as he refines his fuel and hydration strategy for middle-distance racing, with a view to taking on a full IRONMAN® in the near future.

Precision Fuel & Hydration and their science team has made me understand my body's energy needs during a triathlon. Their products make sure I never 'bonk' during a race or training.
