Elite Ultrarunner.

Kristina is a mountain, trail, and ultra-runner living in the Pacific Northwest, specialising in the 50-mile to 100km distances.

Originally from Berkeley, CA, trail running came naturally when she began to run in high school. First running solo and then joining cross country, she was hooked and quickly stepped up to the ultra distances and they seemed to fit like a charm. She has big dreams of mountain adventures and big goals of competing at the biggest stages in trail running.

Outside of running, Kristina is a PhD student at the University of Washington where she is studying a variety of aspects of blue whale population dynamics.

As a very salty sweater, taking the PH 1500 electrolytes along for big mountain days has been game changing for Kristina.
