10.5km Galway Bay amputee swimmer

Pre marathon carb loading and race day hydration
Used PH1000 hydrartion tablets during my last marathon long training run and during the marathon itself. I was doing the London Marathon MyWay virtual run so I needed to carry my own water supplies. These tablets are great, easy to dissolve, taste neutral. They provided me with the electrolytes that I needed during my runs. I didn't once feel dehydrated using the 250ml per 1/2hr running.
I also used the 30-120g carb only drink mix for carb loading stage. Great product to use to get those import...

Great Carb only Product for running and cycling
Website easy to navigate, lots of help on choosing the right product for your needs. I wanted a carb only drink to run and cycle with and this fits the bill. I will add in Precision electrolyte tabs when I need to. Tastes good and easy to mix in your water bottle.

Powered by Salt and Poor Financial Decisions
These products definitely aren’t cheap, but in my experience, you get what you pay for. The 1500 works incredibly well for me. I’m a heavy sweater, and during my last ultra it kept my sodium levels spot on. I had zero issues with salt marks on my shorts or skin by the end, which is something I usually struggle with.
The 90g pouch is an absolute monster. I always start my ultras with one in hand so I’m fueled right from the very beginning. It’s become a key part of my race strategy.

No GI issues with PF products
I used both PF 30g gel and PF carb only drink mix and I was surprised that I didn't have any GI upset after. I am currently training with it on my long bike and long run in preparation for Ironman. The plan would be to fuel me for Ironman Canada this year
