PF 90 Gel

Precision carbs & electrolytes make fuelling simple so that I can focus on other stuff. In particular, PF90s are yum, good value and easier to consume lots of compared to smaller gels - great for anyone trying to increase carb intake in line with current trends. And as a cramper, PH 1500 tabs are helping to extract more race day performance, as well as improving hydration day to day given the ease with which these can be consumed.

I have recently switched to PF products after many years of trialing other brands without success. After just a few sessions with these products I am seeing some positive results in my training and I am excited to keep using the products in longer events

I have been riding long distance cycling events since 1995 (Audax riding - 200 to 1400km), never really got on with gels / powders and use them as a last resort. This year to celebrate being 60 years young I have entered my first ever trail run - Montane Lakeland 50 miles (I'm not really a runner, done the odd half marathon). I use the 30g and 90g gels for running and swimrunning. I find them really easy on the tummy and they fuel me for the harder, longer efforts and races. The neutral taste is great (even my 8yr old liked the taste when she tried a little), and I like that the tear-off top (on the 30g) stays attached to the gel, to prevent accidentally dropping litter.

Took the 30g chews and 90g pouch between other flavored gels and they helped me stay on saddle for 8 hours.

Precision fuel and hydration products are awesome. No sickly sweet taste like many other brands and easy on the stomach. As a sport nutritionist myself I use them personally and recommend Precision fuel to all my clients.

I have found the gels easily digestible when running and cycling. I like the 90g Carb pouch as it cuts down on the number of used gels I have in my pockets and allows me to have as little or as much as I want in that particular moment. A suggestion for improvement might be to find a way to retain the cap or use a flip cap like a sports drink as there is a risk of dropping the cap! The chews are a great way to introduce variety in your fuelling on a long ride or run.
