Precision Fuel & Hydration Products are perfect for triathletes
I've been doing triathlons since 1987 and Ironman triathlons since 2002. Since Precision Hydration products are now used at Ironman races, I recently decided to try them. Based on my needs, I'm using the PH 1000 hydration tablets, PF gel, and PF chews. It is easy to carry enough PF gel and PF chews for long bike rides (100+ miles / 5+ hours). How i taylor my gels for short / long rides
The large gel pack allows me to decant into one of the soft shell squeegees and as such I can taylor the volume I take on each ride (<3hrs I’d use the smaller soft shell squeegee and >3hrs I’d use the larger soft shell squeegee) - especially the longer ride coz then I don’t need to constantly rip open one of the small gel pouch’s which is normally do on a small ride.

300 g gels
For years I had moved away from gels as I could never stomach several in a longer race, however in the past couple of years discovered precision gels and I now use the 300 g gels and put them in a flask. I have found I can get so much more in easily without having to open several single gels, and can also stomach so many more. In my last 100km I was able to take in approx 30+ gels! Precision powers my long swims
Just completed my final 10 hour swim in preparation for my English channel crossing. Pre swim nutrition included chew before getting in, and the flow gels and Carb powder powered me for the next 10 hours. Given the time amount of time we have to feed, nutritional density absolutely critical and the precision products delivered.
